Regarding your Bricklink question: I order several times per year and I trust every shop so far. Pick the one with the best offer, right?

Sorry for not really helping you,
have fun with LEGO,
bye Tom

Hello.

Your BL question is tough a little as even some people here on this forum have their own BL shop :D Basically, every BL shop in CZ can send the package using Zasilkovna so this is usually not a problem. And they also provide really good service because it would be well known very quickly if not... There is a special category of threads about unfair shops and similar problems. Sure check both this and BL reputation before your shopping.

My experience is there is a lot of good BL shops, even if you want to be limited to buy from Czech ones only. The main problem is to match your wanted list with their offer. And not to pay post fee too many times. For this reason it might be cheaper to pay a package from another EU country if that BL shop offers a list of parts you'd need to buy from several shops otherwise. BL tool for shopping planning is a good helper but it is not 100% accurate in all cases. I recommend to check results manually as well, esp. in more special cases like some rare parts with very unstable price etc.

Thanks for answers, guys! This means there are no monopoly stores, that is good!
I didn't find a topic here for meeting newbies, so I'll drop it here.
I've been with Lego since birth, but I consciously returned as a hobby in 2009. At home in Kyiv I have a large collection. You can look at my Instagram:

In the Czech Republic I started from the beggining and already have a small stock of sets and parts. Thanks God you have an official Lego store and a pic-a-brick, although quit modest by European standards. I also have a couple of MOCs now collecting votes on IDEAs and on the BL program. If you are interested, please check and support, I will be grateful.

Hi Jefry, nice railway keeper's house on Ideas. I have supported it.  It looks like it is located in CZ. There are several train fans here.

Can you provide the link to UA LUG
meeting newbies section? Thanks.

Hello! Thanks, I appreciate your support!

Well, first I should admit that we do not use this old style forum format anymore. Now our comunity is chatting on Discord server. But here is a link on how it was on forum. Each new person had to fill out a small business card :)
