Potom jedného dňa mali návštevu a všetkým uvarili čaj. Len čo si chlapec odpil, povedal: "Ten čaj je málo sladký."
Rodičia naňho v úžase vzvalili oči a spýtali sa, prečo doteraz nič nehovoril. A on na to: "Doteraz bol čaj OK."
Nečakajte odo mňa chválu, z toho je len stagnácia.
Čakajte dotazy na techniku stavby a kritiku. Jedine to posúva vpred.

Hi all - I'm posting the below message regarding the VIP Program Rewards Center. If you have any questions at all that you'd like me to forward to the VIP team, please feel free to comment in this thread!

***

A message to our valued VIP customers

We are currently in the process of upgrading our VIP Program to give our fans more benefits and more rewards.

To do this, we need to move to a new online Rewards Centre in order to provide you with more opportunities to earn and redeem LEGO VIP points.

This involved migrating all of our existing LEGO VIP Rewards accounts from our old platform to the new centre.  We have millions of accounts, and unfortunately during this process not all VIP points information was successfully migrated.  As a result, some VIP accounts are not showing the correct points balance.

Please don't worry.  No one has lost points.  We have a backup of all points information, and are in the process of fixing the issue.  It will probably take a day or two, but we will make sure everyone's account is showing the correct points balance.

We apologise for any inconvenience and also want to reassure you that no personal data has been impacted by this migration, only VIP points data.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our awesome consumer service team. https://www.lego.com/en-us/service

Thank you for your patience and understanding.  We're working as fast as we can to fix this!

Zajímavé info od Jana ohledně jeho aktivit, zvýšené podpoře velkých akcí, LEGO retail stores a další  :)

"Moving forward TLG will not differentiate between LEGO owned stores (formerly known as LEGO Branded stores) and LEGO certified stores. The company wants to differentiate based on size, where flagships stores will have a different offering of activities as well as a larger product portfolio vs medium (regular LBR store) and smaller stores (LCE stores)."

Napr v Bratislave mali Alltoys oddeleny Kocka obchod ale zakapalo to - ak by boli Lego store so vsetkym co k tomu patri a nie len oddelena sekcia LEga v Alltoys malo by to sancu.

Media Release

The LEGO Group delivers top line growth in first half of 2019,
steps up investment in future growth initiatives
Revenue and consumer sales grew while significant investments were made in initiatives which will bring learning through play experiences to even more children around the world.

Performance Highlights
•   Global consumer sales grew 5 percent compared with the same period in 2018.
•   Revenue for the first half grew 4 percent to DKK 14.8 billion. In constant currency, revenue grew 2 percent compared with the same period in 2018.
•   Operating profit was DKK 3.5 billion, a decline of 16 percent. Net profit was DKK 2.7 billion, a decline of 12 percent driven by significant investments in long-term growth.
BILLUND, September 3, 2019:  The LEGO Group today released its financial results for the first half of 2019 to June.  Revenue for the period grew 4 percent to DKK 14.8 billion compared with the same period last year.  Consumer sales grew 5 percent compared with the first half of 2018 and the brand grew market share in its largest markets.
Operating profit was a solid DKK 3.5 billion.  This was a decline of 16 percent compared with the first half of 2018 due to the decision to step up investments in initiatives designed to create growth in the long term.
The LEGO Group CEO Niels B Christiansen said: "We are satisfied with our performance given the transformative shifts which continue to reshape the global toy industry.  Against this backdrop, we continue to grow consumer sales and market share in our largest markets.  This is thanks to our dedicated colleagues who are laser focused on collaborating with our valued retail partners and creating the very best brand experiences for fans of all ages.
"At the same time we're making upfront investments to create a strong foundation from which to grow in the long term and inspire future generations.  This includes opening new markets, expanding in China, creating innovative retail experiences and developing exciting new products and play experiences."
Consumer sales in established markets such as the Americas and Western Europe grew single digits. China, a strategic growth market for the LEGO Group, continued its strong double-digit growth in consumer sales.
Top selling themes in the first half of the year were a mix of homegrown favourites and partner IPs.  In no particular order they were LEGO® City, LEGO Creator, LEGO Friends, LEGO Ninjago®, LEGO Technic and LEGO Star WarsTM. LEGO Marvel Avengers sets performed especially strongly and LEGO Movie 2 products also contributed to consumer sales growth.
"We are pleased with the performance of our evergreen favourites such as LEGO City and LEGO Technic," said Christiansen.  "We are also excited to explore innovative ways to bring the brick to life through digital play experiences such as new LEGO Hidden SideTM which blends the best of building with the awesomeness of augmented reality."
Expanding in new markets
The LEGO Group is stepping up investments to expand its global physical and digital footprint in order to reach more children around the world. The Group will continue to invest in China and is on track to have more than 140 stores in 35 cities by the end of 2019.
It will also open an office Mumbai in early 2020 from where the Group will expand its presence in India.
"We see an opportunity to reach more Indian children and families who value the benefits of learning through play.  The growing middle class, importance of education and growing economy make India a logical next step in our efforts to reach many more children around the world," said Christiansen.
Upgrading ecommerce and physical retail experiences
The Group is investing in upgrading its ecommerce platforms to improve the user experience for consumers and its service to retail partners.  In addition, more than 70 stores carrying the LEGO brand will open outside of China during 2019, including a flagship store in Amsterdam in December 2019.  It will be the brand's fifth flagship store.
Christiansen said: "We are making these investments from a sound financial base to capture the opportunities being created by mega-trends such as digitalisation and global demographic and economic shifts which are reshaping the industry. Being ahead of these trends will allow us to inspire future generations of children."
A global force for learning through play
The LEGO Group's ambition to bring learning through play to all children around the world remains its primary focus.
Christiansen said: "Play is more important than ever. When children play they learn skills that will be critical to their future success. The World Economic Forum estimates that 65% of kindergarten children today will have jobs that don't yet exist. The only way children will succeed in this uncertain future is to have universal skills such as creativity, problem solving, resilience and collaboration – skills developed from the earliest age through LEGO play.
"Ensuring children can achieve their potential is what drives everyone at the LEGO Group to do all we can to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow – now, and for generations to come."

Did you know that?

Facts about the loose elements orders

LEGO Elements

-Elements' prices change every year and we only receive access to those prices in January. That is why we cannot share the lists with the communities earlier.

-Elements can be produced in different plants all around the world: Mexico, China, Denmark, Czech Republic.

-The supply of the bricks from different plants to the warehouse in Kladno demands a lot of planning and coordination. The same element can be supplied in a shorter or longer periods of time affecting the time to receive the order.

-If elements are not in stock they will need to be produced. Once the elements are produced in one of the plants around the world, they will be sent to Czech Republic and packed with the rest of your order.

-Chinese communities need a special label called CCC for every single element and Chinese authorities do not accept elements from certain production plants.

The Warehouse

- Once an element is created, regardless of what production plant it is produced it, it is shipped to the warehouse in Kladno

The warehouse in Kladno takes care of most loose elements orders for the whole LEGO company.

-Their activity needs to be organized based on hours of capacity to process, produce, and pack the orders.

-Each month, AFOL orders take around 24% of the warehouse´s capacity.

-There is a need to forecast in advance how many orders might arrive in a year to book the capacity at the warehouse, however, the capacity is limited.

- When an order is placed in the LEGO system, it takes several business days to know if any element cannot be delivered, if elements are on stock or if they need to be produced

LUGBULK GmbH

-From 2019 and going forward, LUGBULK GmbH -Thomas Wesselski´s company- is our partner that not only provide the service of the online ordering system but also places the orders in the LEGO system, takes care of the invoicing, and shipment of the goods.

-LUGBULK GmbH needs to set up accounts for all the communities that  sign up and apply for loose elements support, this set up requires information from the community and the ambassadors, which is collected during the sign up/application period.

-We are gathering all the learnings from 2019 to improve as much as possible the processes for 2020.

LUGBULK

-Every year the participation for LUGBULK increase approx. 20% compared to the previous year.

-Almost 80% of the LUGBULK orders coming from the Recognized Communities are placed in the last 2 weeks before deadline. This means that the majority of orders cannot be processed until the deadline.

-As its name says, LUGBULK is a program where elements are delivered in bulk, this means there is no exact count of the elements ordered, they are instead weighted. This also means that even if there are machines to calculate the amount of bricks, there are errors with a margin of 5%.

-LEGO is a B2B company where this kind of margin doesn´t have a big impact. Of course, the situation is not the same regarding AFOL communities, in which each element counts. We are trying to work on a sustainable solution to avoid this important gap on the elements ordered and received when ordering LUGBULK and Project Support.

- LUGBULK is a very long process as the warehouse cannot process all the orders within a couple of months. The orders need to be distributed and process throughout the whole year, as mentioned previously, due to limited capacity.

- The orders are uploaded in the LEGO system as they are submitted in the online ordering system. The earlier they are placed, the earlier the warehouse can work on them. We recommend you submit your LUGBULK orders as early as possible.

-Which orders will be shipped first depends on a lot of variables like: elements in stock, elements that need to be produced, administrative paperwork for customs, region, etc.

-Not all orders for a same country will be shipped at the same time, nevertheless, we know there are regions that are more complicated than others to ship goods to due to tax reasons, customs, import regulations, etc., therefore the warehouse tries to take care of them at the same period of time. A good example of this is China.

Project Support

-From 2019 and going forward, Project Support will be a seasonal program which will be open from beginning of April to end of July.

-There is a clear difference between LUGBULK and Project Support. While LUGBULK is meant to enlarge community members private collections and used in a private basis to build fantastic MOCs, Project Support is meant for a collective community activity in which members get together to build large MOCs, have interactive activities with the public during events, and learn from each other´s experiences and techniques.

-Due to the large amount of orders for LUGBULK each year, the capacity to process Project Support orders is limited.

Shipping

-LUGBULK GmbH is the one who receives the orders from Kladno and ship them to the communities once payment has been received.

-Customs clearance, tax rules and requirements are different from country to country and are submitted to change in short periods of time. What is working now, might not work next year.

-During the current year, there is a need to investigate and cover all the requirements to ship the goods and this can take some time, especially in 2019 where LUGBULK GmbH took over this task.

-Some countries have very strict laws governing customs regulations, taxes and business compliance, which creates challenges for delivery. These countries include: China, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia and Argentina.

-For some countries, there are so many import taxes that need to be paid to clear the goods that communities cannot afford to receive the support.

Communities can only have goods shipped to an address in the country they are registered on. For example, a Community in Mexico, cannot receive a shipment in USA, they need to provide a shipping address in Mexico.

We hope that this information give you some insights on the loose elements orders and help you understand what happens "behind the scenes". We will try to keep you updated on any changes to the support programs when they happen.

Hi everyone,

We're keen to explore the community's interests to know how to better add value with Lead User Lab. So, we're kicking off a survey to explore several areas for now: Jewelry, Customization and Lights.

Hope you can help us with your valuable input and opinions and distributing the link to the members of your RLUG network please, so we cover as many opinions as possible. (Only have the possibility to do it in English at this point, so apologies to those who will find it challenging to share due to language barriers).

Answer our Survey by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WM8LBZY   (Please note at this stage, this is an exploration and cannot guarantee we're able to focus on specific pilots)

Hello everyone,

You may be familiar with a section in Blocks magazine titles 'Month in MOCs'. It's a spot where we showcase the amazing builds being put together by the AFOL community around the world.

The key to this section is variety; we feature vehicles, fantasy lands, IP based builds, microscale, minifigure scale, massive statues... every month Blocks readers know there will be an eclectic mix of models found within. We present them in different ways depending on the build and builder – they can be Q&A format, image focused format, or step by step build format.

We also have 'Ideas Showcase', which is a two page spread that focuses specifically on MOCs that are on LEGO ideas.

I'd love you to let your LUG members know that this opportunity is available, and if they have a build they would like to be considered to email me at graham@blocksmag.com. We're ideally looking for new and recent builds, but will consider any original fan creation.

There's no pressure of course to share this, but we'd love to give as many LEGO builders as possible the opportunity to appear in the mag, so if you can pass this message to your community that would be fantastic.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out either here or via email.

The LEGO Group is interested in learning more about a user experience that is offered at https://bricks.toysphere.com/main, we have put together a survey to get feedback from you and your community members. This is a public survey and is open to everyone. It will be great to get different perspectives as the experience that Toy Sphere offers is different then other webstores.

Website: https://bricks.toysphere.com/main

Survey: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=FTUGHa1slUGUhupl30VvqoN-W0xYordGhTHjJgx8p9pUNkQwNFkwWEY5TEo5V05NOE5GNzY3S0pRWS4u

The Survey will close Wednesday December 9th.

Survey Questions:

1.       How do you find the user experience of the site – what are the pleasure points and what are the pain points?

2.       Who do you think is the audience for this site? AFOLs? Kids? Parents? A mix? Moderate LEGO enthusiasts? Other?

3.       What would you change, add or remove from the way the site works right now?

4.       What else could you imagine LEGO doing with such an interface?

5.       In which country do you live?

Thank you :)
