LEGO Kids Fest Prague
Dear all,
I am very happy to announce the LEGO Kids Fest Prague.
The event will happen from the 13th of June to the 28th of June 2015 in the Exhibition hall PVA Letňany Prague and I got asked to help to involve AFOLs for an approx. 700m2 big MOC display.
I am in close cooperation with the local LUG Kostky.org which will help to organize the event and also have some members to display their MOCs but there is also the strong wish for the participation from international AFOLs.
As the event stretch over a long time period we expect the international AFOLs to be around from the 11th/12th (set up days) to the 14th of June 2015 and from the 27th to 29th of June (28th in the evening and 29th is the take down day) – in the meantime the MOCs are supervised by either local Czech AFOLs or Event Staff.
The framework (details will be agreed with the chosen participants) is as follows:
1.   Some travel costs based on the size of the MOC will be covered
2.   Hotel room cost for the above mentioned time period will be min. 50% covered
3.   Food for the above mentioned period will be covered
4.   There will be an AFOLs evening (likely on the 13th of June) with fun activities and gifts
5.   Some LEGO Sets/loose LEGO bricks are given as compensation to the participants
If you are willing to participate with your MOC please send an application no later than January 15th to Jan(at)LEGO.com with the following information. Please note that we only have limited space and budget so we need to make a selection from the application which means that unfortunately not all AFOLs can participate.

Visiting hours for public:
Monday to Friday:       10am to 7pm
Saturdays and Sundays:       9am to 7pm
(during weekend days we have morning and afternoon tickets)

The terms for production team:
Date of installation:       8th of June, from 9am
Date of dismantling:       28th of June, from 8pm 

The terms for AFOLs:
The first possible day of installation:    11th of June from 4pm
Installation must be done till:      12th of June till 12pm
Date of dismantling:          28th of June, from 8pm

The practical information

Arrival date:
In the day of arrival to the hotel you will meet person from executive team. At the hotel you will get package which will include:
-   written agreement for signing, 
-   payment of the travel costs,
-   parking ticket in the festival area,
-   ticket to the festival,
-   indication card of cooperator of the festival,
-   two pieces of T-shirt for the festival,
-   card with the name and title of the work for exhibition


Catering at the festival:
During the days of your staying at the festival – exhibition days and days of preparing exhibition, is food available in backstage area  includes lunch and dinner. Also drinking water is available on backstage area. The entrance allows identification card.
Time lunch:    from 12:00 to 14:00
Time dinner:     from 16:00 to 18:00

Technical information:
Fork lifts will be available during installation days.

1. Subject Matter of Contract
1.1.   The subject matter of this Contract is mutual cooperation on the event LEGO KidsFest in the period from 13.6.2015 to 28.6.2015 in PVA EXPO Prague, address of venue: Beranových 667, 199 00 Prague 9 – Letňany, (hereinafter referred to as the "Event").

2. Rights and Obligations of Parties
2.1.   The Contractor undertakes to the Organizer:
a)   To provide and transport his/her MOC (creative work, hereinafter referred to as "MOC" in the singular, or more works) created for the purpose of their exhibition in the special zone AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) in the event;
b)   To deliver the MOC to the venue of the Event by no later than the date .......... and remove the MOC from the venue of the Event no later than .........

2.2.    The Organizer undertakes: 
a)   To ensure in collaboration with Contractor placing of the MOC in an appropriate manner in the AFOL special zone in the Event; namely to prepare tables for exposition and to protect MOC by a safety fencing;
b)   To ensure during the absence of the Contractor form the venue of the Event protection of the MOC by authorized personnel placed in the AFOL zone;
c)   To ensure during the days when Contractor is at the venue of the Event lunch and dinner and accommodation for the Contractor. 
d)   Organizer takes upon himself  the liability for MOC and pay for any damage, or theft during exhibition.
3. Price of Provided Services
3.1.   The Organizer undertakes to pay the Contractor costs related to the delivery of the MOC at the Event the price of EUR..... excluding VAT. Payment under the preceding sentence is the only payment to Contractor under this Contract and covers all services and/or rights provided by the Contractor hereiuneder.
3.2.   Payment will be made after the delivery of the MOC, or at least one day before the Event, that is 06/12/2015. Payment will be executed based in exchange for a cash receipt.
4. Final Provisions

5.1   This Contract may be amended in writing only.
5.2   The Contract is made out in two counterparts, and each party shall receive one counterpart.
